My husband has always worked hard to provide for us. And in his job, that means travel. The routine of Stephen packing, leaving, calling and FaceTiming, and then returning home is not new. The only part that really changes is how early or late the bag is packed!
This routine is not new, but the girls still struggle. And we've tried to use their struggle at each trip to remind them of God's perfection. God does not pack his bags and travel, we don't have to wait for a break in his meetings to give him a call, and there's no need to wait four days to run for a hug!
Are you missing someone who's away? Can I pray for you?
